APPEARANCE

HAIR COLOR & STYLE: Usually Dark brown/ ebony and style varies (layered and straight, or tangled and messily, sharply crimped, etc)
EYE COLOR & SHAPE: Usually Chocolate brown and almond shaped, slightly cat-like
APPEARANCE: Alice is an exceptionally attractive girl with straight, pearl-white teeth, who, some say, resembles a porcelain doll. She is a Metamorphmagus but usually sticks to her birth appearance. Her ivory skin comes from her inherited vampire blood and her eyes turn a darker shade with liquid gold hues when blood is scented (her expression also turns slightly predatory). Being partially vampire, her eyes and skin are to some extent more sensitive than most and she is often seen outside with a parasol. She is slender and athletic/fit and is extraordinarily strong. She doesn’t wear much make-up except for the occasional mascara, eyeliner and lip gloss. Her taste of clothing usually consists of a wide variety, but is slightly based on a gothic trend with both color and style. All and all, she has an impeccable sense in fashion and usually tosses on some casual Muggle-wear such as t-shirts, tanktops, jeans, shorts, skirts, long-sleeves, etc., but all à la mode. Her shoes vary too (boots, sandals, high-heels, etc.). She loves accessories like necklaces, earrings, especially wristbands/bracelets and finger-gloves; the designs are usually gothic/punk or peace signs. Her hair is sometimes colored with red or purple streaks, but not very often. She wears it in an up-do and lets it down as well; it is constantly changing from wavy or straight. One thing that Alice always has with her is an ornate, antique pocket watch with intricate, elegant designs on its gold cover and on the inside; it plays a music box, nostalgic tune when opened: it is a memento from her parents and the melody is called Lacie.

PERSONALITY
Likes:
• Hogwarts – Naturally: Alice adores magic
• FOOD – Especially yummy treats like Pocky and bonbons and ice cream; chocolate makes her high and out of character
• Dancing in rain and snow – She loves dancing in thunderstorms and snow storms and getting wet
• Reading/writing – Alice enjoys any kinds of books and her personal stories are quite well-known
• Music – She plays many instruments as well as singing and listening
• Daydreaming – She could dream all day long…
Dislikes:
• Rules – Alice much prefers breaking them
• Small spaces - Alice is rather claustrophobic
• Hot/sunny days – She is a rain-all-day-and-night girl who thrives in cool temperatures
• Biased people – Stereotypes and narrow-minded people get on her nerves
• Superstitions – She finds them stupid and pointless
• Dementors – A bad past…
GENERAL PERSONALITY: Alice is a very complicated, changeable girl. Her mood and personality is unpredictable. Overall, she is not very out-going, but agreeable and sociable enough, although she is mostly seen alone and withdrawn. She usually bears a demonic, rebellious personality on the surface; her overall aura is rather intimidating, and those that anger her fear for their lives because of her strength and being a black belt in karate and tai-kwon-doe. She often plays dark pranks on others and breaks many rules, but is never caught. She is very independent, strong, and hates to show that she’s weak so she never cries. Her trademark expression is stoic, monotone and poker-faced. Sometimes, however, it makes a quick transition to wistful and melancholy. The term “to forgive and forget” has nothing to do with her.
She is very witty, an expert at lying and an ace hacker in various stealth professions, as well as being extremely talented in acting. Alice is also an acrobat, being exceptional with sports and combat. An avid learner, she is unbelievably intelligent as well with an IQ of more than 220 currently, and has an uncanny ability to sense people’s thoughts, feelings and distinguish their presence, which unnerves some that associate with her. These abilities are natural, so they were not developed or practiced upon, although most still believe that she is merely an accomplished Legimens. Her atmosphere is considered more mature than most. Additionally, she has illusory talent in almost every art and academic/magical study she comes across and enjoys all of them. The term “prodigy” does apply to her, as well as “calm, cool and collected.”

HISTORY
FAMILY:
• Thomas Narcieq ( Pureblood, a mixture of ethnicities, Animagus (wolf), deceased at age 34)
• Lacie Astwood ( Half-blood, a mixture of ethnicities, Metamorphmagus, ¼ vampire: her mother was half vampire, deceased at age 32)
• Nightshroud (black cat, age 2 in human years)
• Winterstorm (white cat, age 2 in human years, Nightshrouds twin)
HISTORY: Thomas Narcieq and Lacie Astwood were well-known Aurors who very much enjoyed traveling around in their spare time. On one of their trips in Naples, Italy, Alice June Narcieq was born at exactly 12:00 am/pm (midnight) sharp. It didn’t take long before the couple realized that their newborn daughter had inherited Lacie’s special traits: Alice was also a Metamorphmagus and had rather predatory and physical qualities that hinted vampirism. These characteristics were not a problem though.
The family stayed in Naples, and Alice grew up with emerald fields, cobalt oceans and open skies. However, there were no other souls in the remote countryside and Thomas and Lacie never stayed with their daughter much: their job had them hunting down Death Eaters constantly and attending meetings with the Order of the Phoenix in London. Alice was left alone with the maids, becoming a lonely child with only her dolls and stuffed animals as her friends.
It stayed this way until Alice’s 6th year. Her were able to parents come home for longer than usual this time. Alice was delighted, but her parents even more so when they discovered that Alice showed magical abilities. Sadly, such happiness was short-lived. One wintry morning in December, Death Eaters along with dementors found the Narcieq family’s home and quickly eliminated all that was in sight.
Alice was revived in the Hospital Wing of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry a year later, having fallen into a coma. She suffered memory loss, knowing nothing of her past except for flashes of color, sounds and feelings on that fateful day. For weeks, she was in a daze, refusing to eat and everything went by as a blur: curious visitors, teachers, the constant nurse whom she later discerned as Madame Pomfrey, and a wise, old man with wrinkled hands, a flowing silver beard and piercing blue eyes through thin spectacles: Albus Dumbledore. One year later, she was finally in “normal” mode again, that’s what the whispers said. Two years later, she was socializing and getting a grip of reality. Three years later, she learned the ancient man was her Headmaster and that Hogwarts was officially her school…and permanent new home.

RP SAMPLE: A girl of 8 years and small, undernourished frame stood dead-still in a soaked, white nightgown. Her dark hair contrasted eerily with her pale skin, and people would have though she was a ghost if they weren’t all trying to fall asleep against the rhythmic pounding of the silver sheets of rain. She stares through dull eyes up at the pregnant clouds, frozen raindrops clinging to thick eyelashes and trailing down her cheeks (or were those tears?). In her hand, she clutches a gold pocket watch.
“Sara, Sara, when will Mommy and Daddy come home?” A five year old Alice in pigtails tugged on the hem of one her maid’s skirt. Sara knelt down to meet Alice’s doe-eyed gaze.
“The Master and the Mistress are very busy right now, but everyday they are thinking of you and missing you and loving you too. Don’t worry Mistress Alice, they’ll be back soon.” Sara said in a sympathetic tone and gave young Alice a pat on the head. “It’s time for bed. Come on, I’ll tuck you in.”
But Alice could never fall asleep, staring outside at the molten rain and the shadows that seem to mock her cruelly (where are your parents little girl, where are they…?)…
Alice can not remember this memory. They are all gone now, scattered shattered fragments. Screams, fire, bright flares of green: these are all that she can remember now. And the freezing grip of unknown, heart-wrenching sadness…a Dementor…
She flipped open the pocket-watch. From inside, a miniature device started playing…
A nostalgic tune…all that I have left…
Alice drops to the ground, choking down sobs as she rocks back and forth on the hard asphalt.
“Who am I?”
(You are Alice, doll…)
